The Hotel does not have a parking lot, however there are a few parking lots nearby that we can help you book. There is also street parking available in the Condesa area for roughly $12 pesos per hour. You’ll need to pay in the machine (Parquimetro) in pesos. If you do not pay your car may be blocked and you may be fined roughly $1,400 Mexican pesos. We can assist you with this process.

No, we do not have chargers at the hotel and there are limited spaces in the city that have that option. You can contact the Front Desk team to assist you in case you bring an electric car.

  • Yes! We love guests of all ages. The holder of your reservation must be 18 or up to check in.

• Can I bring my pet?
  • Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome (for a small fee). Pack your pup and we’ll supply a bed, bowl, and maybe a treat or two for your best friend.

• Do you have travel cribs or anything else for kids available?
  • Yes. Just ask the front desk if you need any child-specific needs.

• What amenities are in my room?
  • All rooms include bath amenities, bluetooth speakers, white noise machine, a hairdryer, a fully stocked minibar, a delightfully comfortable bathroom, iron or steamer (upon request), French Press and all the supplies to make your own coffee, in-room safe, and chromecast TV (allowing you to play any streaming apps from your phone or laptop).

• When does housekeeping come? Is stayover service available?

  • Make a reservation during your stay right here. Walk-ins are also welcome at the Lounge at any time between 1:00 PM and  11:00 PM or you can book a space directly at the Lounge or through the FD team.

  • No, outside food is prohibited in the Lounge. However, after 11 AM you can always enjoy your own food and drinks on our rooftop. Pop up and relax!

• What is the nearest airport?
  • The Mexico City International airport is approximately 7 miles/ 11 km from Hotel San Fernando. Ask our FD team for the best time to leave the hotel to make sure you will arrive on time. Traffic in Mexico City can make the ride longer depending on the day and time. 

• What is the best way to get to and from the airport?
  • Uber is a safe way to move to and from the airport. In case you use a Taxi Service, always look for the certified stands inside the airport.

• Do I need a car there? Can you pick me up from the airport? 
  • We are happy to assist in arranging a rideshare to or from the airport, just ask the Front Desk with at least 24 hrs prior to your departure/ arrival in order to confirm the service. 

• Is there an elevator? 
  • You are staying at a 1947, Cataloged by the Bellas Artes Institute building, so we do not have an elevator.

• Will my phone work there?
  • Yes, but we recommend you purchase necessary international phone plans prior to arrival. Although there is free WIFI in the city, sometimes connection is not the best, so be prepared with your phone plan.

• What documents are required for travel?
  • You will need your passport to travel to Mexico if coming from the U.S. If coming from another country, please review your embassy website to make sure you bring the necessary documentation.

• What is the currency in Mexico?
  • Mexican Pesos.

• What is the weather like?
  • Mexico City has a great weather going from  6 °C to 27 °C during the year, with it very rarely going below 3 °C or above 30 °C. During summertime expect rains everyday, mostly during the mornings or the afternoons.
  • Mexico City has an elevation of 2250 meters above sea level so being dizzy or having a headache can be part of the adaptation process. Drinking a lot of water is very helpful.

• Are there in-room safes?
  • Yes, the instructions are located on the safe door, but  feel free to ask the Front Desk how to use it.

• Is the restaurant open to the public?
  • Lounge Fernando is open to the community as well as to property guests. We’d love it if you invite your friends during your stay. Rooftop breakfast is available to guests only. If you would like to invite someone, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. There is a fee of $20 USD + taxes per person. 

• Is the property pet-friendly?
  • Yes. 

• Where do I go if I need a doctor?
