Hotel Havana and Ocho provide an elegant backdrop for private events, weddings and other important occasions. For groups of 5 to 150, we offer a variety of unique, spaces on our historic grounds and an array of catering and planning services suited to life’s most memorable celebrations.

Ocho Restaurant
Whether you’re using the full Ocho space or a half portion, you’ll have a perfect restaurant setting for your private dinner, reception, or brunch. An private event restaurant buyout can accommodate up to 60 guests seated and 100 in a reception style. For more intimate gatherings, the front half can accommodate 40 guests for a seated meal and 50 in a reception set up.

Breezeway & Patio
Our Breezeway and Patio space are available in conjunction with an Ocho buyout. This outdoor space is ideal for cocktail parties and provides a great area for live music and entertainment. The second-floor terrace overlooks the space and when combined creates a full property experience.
Please note our exterior vine plants are seasonal and may differ from the photograph above based on what has survived through winter.
The Terrace
Our second floor terrace overlooks the patio and breezeway below. This outdoor area is a great space for a wide range of small gatherings such as dinner parties and wedding ceremonies.

Havana Bar
Best suited for cocktail parties, company mixers and other intimate gatherings. This downstairs bar can be a stand alone rental or added to a reception in Ocho to include additional intimate spaces for guests.

La Sala Conference Room
Hotel Havana can provide a variety of unique spaces for business meetings up to 30, that reflect the spirit and beauty of San Antonio. Our flexible meeting room adjacent to Ocho, La Sala, can be tailored to support professional productivity and creativity. All day and half day meeting packages available.

Library
The library, just off the lobby, is an intimate gathering space for property buy-outs or additional space for larger events.

Weddings
Hotel Havana and Ocho provide an elegant backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions. For groups of 20 to 150, we offer a variety of unique, spaces on our historic grounds and an array of catering and planning services suited to life’s most memorable celebrations. Our front drive can accommodate ceremonies over 70, while our breezeway and terrace offer smaller alternatives. Depending on size, we offer a wide variety of spaces for receptions with options for live music, dancing, and late-night cocktails.
Catering from Ocho
Led by Chef Kirk, Ocho can create a special event menu rooted in the hotel’s pan Latin cultural influences from Mexico, Cuba, and Texas. Cocktails can highlight the tequila of Hotel Havana’s San Antonio roots with the rum of its Cuban namesake, with a love for old school recipes and, when the occasion calls, the simple satisfaction of an ice-cold Michelada.
Rooms
Multiple spaces can be combined for larger capacities. Our property can accommodate parties up to 200 guests. Some events at Hotel Havana require a site fee and guest room reservations depending on the size of the event. Groups may be eligible for room discounts dependent on number of guests or duration of event. Such discounts will be determined by hotel management.
