• When can I check in?
  • Check-in begins at 3 PM.
  • Upon check-in, your card will be authorized for the cost of the stay, plus $50 per night for incidentals. This charge may appear on your debit or credit card for up to two weeks post-departure.

• When do I check out?
  • Check out is noon. 

• Can I check in early? 
  • We always try to accommodate early check-ins. Let us know when you are arriving and we’ll do our best to get you into your room early.

• Can I checkout late?
  • If you need a little extra time getting out, let us know. We will do our best to give you some more time, and we can always hold onto your bags while you explore.

• Can you store my bags before I check-in or after I check out?
  • Of course. Just let the front desk know and we’ll provide a ticket for your bag.

• What is the minimum age required to check in?
  • You must be 21 or older and present a valid ID to check in.

• Do you have WiFi?
  • Of course. Wifi is complimentary under the network name Hotel_Guest

• Are children allowed?
  • Yes. We love guests of all ages. We do ask that the holder of your reservation be 21 or up to check in.

• Can I bring my pet?
  • Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome (for a small fee). Pack your pup and we’ll supply a bed, bowl, and maybe a treat or two for your best friend.

• Do you have travel cribs or anything else for kids available?
  • Yes. Just ask the front desk if you need any child-specific needs.

• What amenities are in my room?
  • All rooms include bath amenities, bluetooth speakers, a hairdryer, a fully stocked minibar, a delightfully comfortable bathroom, iron or steamer upon request, and in-room safe.

• When does housekeeping come? Is stayover service available?
  • Housekeeping replaces towels and removes trash daily. Simply ask the front desk if you would like new bed linen or any other services.

• Can I have a package sent to the hotel prior to my arrival?
  • Of course. If you can let us know if you are planning on receiving anything, we can make sure it arrives safely. If anything arrives for you before you check-in, we’ll hold it at the front desk. We are only able to hold packages for 10 days before or after your reservation.

• Can I bring a photographer and take pictures?
  • Maybe. Commercial photography is prohibited without express permission. Contact us if you have a request.

• How many rooms are at the hotel?
  • 122

• Are there any events going on while I’m staying there?
  • Probably. At Bunkhouse we love a good reason to get together. Check out our Events page to explore what’s happening while you are in town.

• Can I rent a bike?
  • We do not have bikes at this time.

• Does the hotel have a gym?
  • No but we recommend hitting Climb NuLu or taking a run along the riverfront nearby

• Does the hotel have a spa?
  • No, but we know of several great options in the area. Ask the front desk for recommendations.

• What’s the souvenir situation? Is there a shop?
  • Our individually curated retail shops are worth a visit on their own. We offer a host of signature souvenirs, thoughtfully sourced local goods, and one-of-a-kind finds. Save room in your suitcase or if you decide you want something after the fact, our online shops are always open.

• Is there a concierge that can help me plan my stay?
  • Our Front Desk is happy to offer suggestions and help you fill your days with the best our hometown has to offer. Just ask.

• Can I get room service?
  • We do not offer room service at this time, but you can always take an order to go from our restaurant Rosettes or Bar Genevieve located on the 6th floor. 

• Can I smoke in my room?
  • No. All of our rooms are non-smoking. If we find that you’ve tampered with any of our smoke detectors or lit up in your room, we’ll charge an $250 fee.

• I’m really digging the bath products/comforter/uniforms/glasses you use. Are they for sale?
  • Aww thanks. Yes! Many of the items in your room and around the hotel are available in our gift shop. Take a gander!

• What payment methods do you accept?
  • For payment, we accept American Express, Mastercard, or Visa.

• Can I change or cancel my reservation?
  • Plans change. If yours do, we just ask that you let us know by 6 PM local hotel time at least 3 days prior to your reservation to avoid a fee (equal to one night’s stay plus tax).
  • During peak times and depending on your reservation, our policies may vary, so please refer to the policies specific to your reservation. These can be found during the booking process and in your reservation confirmation email.

• When will my credit card be charged? What’s your deposit policy?
  • We will need to secure your booking with a credit or debit card up front. The cost of that deposit may vary and during peak times we may require the full cost of your reservation up front— but the remainder of your payment will be charged upon check-out unless stated otherwise. Please check the exact policies for your reservation while booking.

• How is my room guaranteed?
  • Reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. We’ll ask you to verify the payment details upon check-in.

• Are there any additional fees I should know about?
  • We do not have additional fees such as resort fees or amenity fees.

• Is there a minimum number of nights I need to stay?
  • Minimum length of stay will vary based on the season and time of year.

• What are my dining options on property?
  • Our rooftop bar, Bar Genevieve, offers sweeping views of Louisville with food and cocktails that stand up to the stunning vistas. Those in the know, can find their way to, Lucky Penny, where you can get classic cocktails in an intimate setting. And, if you need something quick, Mini Marché offers local Kentucky provisions and new finds along with coffee and grab-and-go selections for breakfast and lunch including breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and fresh produce.

  • We love parties! Yes. Our team can work with you to host the event of your dreams. You can find more information about our offerings and capabilities here.

  • We do not offer room service, but you can always take an order to go from Rosettes or Bar Genevieve on the 6th floor.

• Do you cater?
  • We only cater for events hosted on property.
