A French-inspired Bistro with a Texas Spirit
Perseid is a neighborhood bistro in Montrose, helmed by Chef Aaron Bludorn, offering a Gulf Coast–influenced take on the classic French bistro for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s a versatile destination for both casual meals and special occasions, serving food that is approachable yet celebratory.
The restaurant’s name (pronounced Per-see-id) comes from the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks every August, and pays homage to Houston’s space legacy.

Helmed by well-loved Houston chef and restaurateur Aaron Bludorn and his front-of-house partner Cherif Mbodji, Perseid is a take on the quintessential neighborhood bistro with a menu that sits at the intersection of refined comfort, classic technique, and a focus on flavor over style.
“This project is extremely exciting to me because it gives me the unique opportunity to pay homage to the amazing quilt that is our city’s culinary scene through the menu at Perseid: highlighting not only ingredients but ideas that are exciting, delighting, and evoking a sense of discovery with every meal enjoyed. While seemingly straightforward, there are nuanced twists and turns in every bite and sip that our guests will experience.” says Aaron.
